Introducing Myself 

I introduced myself as an independent woman raised by a Hispanic family who left Guatemala for better opportunities in Miami, FL then decided to name me “Yalecxa".  As a child, I studied the bible and served for eight years in the Catholic church. Although, I disapprove of how the catholic church can’t bless same-sex marriage since considered a sin in the bible. You could already have an idea of who I am, but there are still more interesting facts about me that you need to know. I found my passion for creating art, even though I abandoned it in the beginning after hearing negative comments. I could see that I failed to improve in the past, but there's still time to fix it. I would say that studying for who I am in a university is an accomplishment, especially for family history since they took community college, so I will be the first. I played soccer and tennis as my hobbies, but if I can't play then I go to the gym or run laps around the home as an opportunity to exercise and release stress every day.

I have chosen digital media as my first class for my minor in Animation, where I was excited and curious about the course that I wanted to start experimenting as my first feelings. A chance to improve my technical skills in Abode since I have taken a similar class, which uses Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Alternatively, I will see the differences between an art course and a film course by using the same tools to teach a similar subject, which leads me to be more curious about the class.  I will be wondering what types of methods I will be learning? Will I see new techniques or learn the basics of using the Abode Apps again? In other words, the class has set high expectations for me. I hope during the hours of class, I will be able to learn satisfying tricks to continue using for next future projects or get newer inspirations. I would expect the assignments to be challenging, even if they might look confusing at first, but it will be worth exposing my knowledge on digital media.
